Just a few friendly reminders of why we do what we do at NHC...
• Heard in a conversation at Block Party - "I haven't set foot in a church in 20 years but this place is changing my life."
• Written in an email from a first-time guest - "I really enjoyed worship on Sunday and had an overwhelming feeling (not really sure WHAT it was - but it was a feeling during prayer...) It is time for me to re-connect and I think NHC is the place to do that..."
• Said in a phone conversation by an NHC newcomer - "I didn’t realize New Horizon wasn’t a church…it’s an adventure!” Read more in this great post on Jamie's blog.
• 39 and counting for baptism next Sunday!
• Great service yesterday with at least a dozen people making commitments to Jesus!
And all this great stuff is going on during what is usually the worst month of the summer for us!
