• Today was awesome! I was so ready to be back to preaching today. I guess it's good for me to take time off because when I do I'm really ready to get back in the saddle!
• Greg and the singers and band really brought it today. I sat backstage before preaching and in both services just felt overwhelmed by the sense of God's presence in our worship. "The Beauty Of The Lord" really did it for me. And then "God and Money" just set up the theme for the day. I may be prejudiced, but I would put our music up against anybody!
• Starting Point was great tonight. We had two things happen with this class that has never happened before: 1) Everyone who signed up showed up 2) Almost everyone was early and those who weren't early were on time! Now if we could just get everyone to do that on Sunday morning.
• A big shout out to our newest volunteer team that helped pull off Starting Point tonight! Thanks everyone!
• I love it when the light comes on for people. That happened this morning for lots of folks. I really believe this series is going to change lives and set people free from bondage!
• Summer attendance is down, as usual. But there are lots of new faces every Sunday. Should be interesting this fall.
• My wife and Arianna leave on Tuesday for Minnesota again...for TWO WEEKS!! It's just going to be me and Lexi.
• The most awesome thing of all - people got saved today...during a message on money. Imagine that!!
