Happy 4th of July!

Fourth of July! The day we fire up the grill, get out the sparklers and take the day off.

But it’s also a great day to pause and give thanks for the incredible freedoms we enjoy as Americans. While we’re munching hot dogs and burgers there are millions of people around the world who have no idea what it means to be free. Most of them would give their right arm to live in America and for us, it’s just where we happen to live.

While we’re lounging on the deck our brave men and women in uniform are overseas fighting and doing what they can to keep us safe and at peace within our own borders.

So this 4th of July go ahead and party! Do whatever you want (as long as it’s legal!), do it whenever you want to, wherever you want to. You’re free to do so! And as you’re doing it, take a minute to thank God that you live in the land of the free and the home of the brave!
