• Great day today at NHC!
• Gary and the band did a great job. Loved Hosanna and Felicia leading out on it. She has one of the purest voices I think I've ever heard.
• And Gary in a cowboy hat! What a hoot! Someone asked me about the song and where it came from. It's Money by Craig Morgan, but let me warn you - when you check it out on iTunes it won't sound like our version today. We definitely rocked it up!
• SERIOUS, AND I DO MEAN SERIOUS PROPS TO CLUB 56!!! During the second service Club 56 SERVED NHC! They did it by washing windows, cleaning marks off the walls, wiping down trash cans, pruning trees around the parking lot and various other clean up duties. Imagine a bunch of 5th and 6th graders doing that kind of stuff! And they had fun doing it because they were serving! Some adults need to get a clue...
• On The Horizon, our new video announcement segment, was a real hit today. I'm not sure if it was so well received because Michelle Daniels did such a great job or because it contained video of Adam doing the Macarena at Block Party.
• And here's the real kicker of the day - we talked about money...and people got saved. Amazing!
• Our new website is just about to go live. I saw some of the new site this week and it's looking really good. It's going to have service videos, podcasts and all kinds of info about the church and our ministries. Just another cool tool to use to invite your friends to NHC!
• I miss my wife and Arianna! Talked to them both this afternoon and we're all ready for this long Minnesota visit to be over. Another week to go!
• Membership Class is coming up, so get signed up soon! As we're moving towards the fall and our new 3 service schedule we need everyone to get on board, so join me for a couple of hours on July 20th at 5:00 PM and let's get ready for what God is going to do this fall.
• Now it's time to get "lazy."
