What's The Deal?

This Sunday we start our yearly series on what the Bible has to say about money. Personally, I’m excited! Let me tell you why. Every time we do a series on money I know what’s going to happen…

• Someone will make the decision to break out of the slavery of consumer debt

• Someone will discover that when you do things God’s way it leads to freedom

• Someone will surrender more of their life to Jesus

• Someone will start living in the incredible zone of God’s blessing

• Someone’s marriage is going to be saved

• Someone will have the power of greed broken

• Someone will get saved

You may wonder if those kinds of things really happen when we talk about money. Every time! So, I want to ask you to pray for this series. Pray for me. Pray that our hearts and minds will be receptive to what God wants to say. And PRAY HARD! This is an area the enemy wants to keep in darkness but we’re going to keep bringing it out into the light!

Dave - I'm truly excited about the Deal or No Deal series. I've recently begun working with someone from the church regarding my finances. She shared with me the cd's from the previous year's series (Mad Money and Freakenomics) I've listened to the Freakenomics and I'm just really ready to hear/learn more. I making several life changing choices these days, some harder than others, but I can already feel the feel the financial chains breaking. I can't wait to learn more and really feel those chains break away!! I will definitely be adding you and this series to my prayers these upcoming days and weeks.
