Eastern NC BBQ is king, vinegar base. But, Wilbur's in Goldsboro has mustard base which is great too. Western NC BBQ with tomato base is ho hum. Texas beef BBQ I've had was great. Luther's in Durham (long gone)use to serve both. I grew up eating Scott's, Wilbur's, & Parker's, so I got spoiled on the world's best.
