I'm sitting in our condo this morning, waiting for Thanksgiving dinner. Later on we're heading out to a restaurant with a HUGE buffet with turkey, ham, prime rib, T-bone steak...WOW!! I hope you're headed somewhere today to enjoy some time with family or friends and a great Thanksgiving meal too.
One of our family traditions is that before we dive into the Thanksgiving meal, we go around the table and say what we're most thankful for. So I'm already thinking about my list. I'm thankful for...
• The grace, mercy and forgiveness of God (what can I say?)
• My wife - she has given me 35 years of great marriage
• Arianna and Jayden
• NHC
• The awesome NHC staff and volunteers
• This year I'm actually thankful for Christmas music! Found myself humming along yesterday while walking through the mall.
• Duke basketball (didn't think I'd leave that one out, did you?)
• Incredibly dark chocolate
• Anything made with dark chocolate
