When we began the Vertical prayer series I announced that I had a goal for the end of the series. My goal was to get 300 NHC'ers to commit to praying for 10 minutes a day for 10 days leading up to Easter weekend. Well, the numbers are in - 318!!
To say I'm pumped would be an understatement! No, I'm not pumped that we reached the goal of getting 300 people to sign up. I'm pumped about what this has the potential to do. In Acts 1, 120 of Jesus' closest followers "joined together constantly in prayer." The result was a move of God that swept thousands into the church and launched a movement that changed the world. Could we see God move in a way that more lives are changed than we've ever seen? I believe we could!
So, for all you who will be praying starting Wednesday, let's ask God to move in a BIG way! And if you didn't sign up you can still pray with us. 10 minutes a day...10 days leading up to Easter weekend...30,000 minutes of prayer!
