“I wouldn’t want to do what you do. I honestly don’t know why you do it.” I don’t know how many times I’ve heard similar comments.
Why do I do what I do?
Simple.
- I believe we will all die – some sooner, some later – but we all die
- I believe when we die we go to one place or another – heaven or hell
- I believe the only way to heaven is by putting our trust in Jesus
- I believe we need to tell as many about Jesus as we possibly can
That’s what I believe. That’s why I do what I do. Why do you do what you do?

I get the same reaction, but not about serving in ministry...about my job in Aninmal Control. Particularly after talking about some of the cruelty cases we deal with.
Why do I do it?
Someone has to take up for the animals.
The difference in saving one animals life is the world to me.
If someone doesn't do it, people will continue to think it's okay to neglect and starve their animals.
Now...if you ask me why I do what I do as far as serving in youth ministry...it's easy.
I like seeing kids connect with God.
God likes seeing kids connect with God.
Sometimes...those serving in youth ministry are the only godly influence the kids we serve get.
Our kids need saving! I like being part of saving them like someone was part of saving me.
