Hey New Horizon, here are some bullet point hits for this coming weekend...
• We're kicking off a new series called Miracles. It's about (wait for it) 6 of the miracles of Jesus! We've never done a series like this before and I'm PUMPED about it! It's going to be a GREAT Sunday!
• This would be a GREAT Sunday to invite your friends who need Jesus!
• If you're facing something that seems like an impossible situation this would be a GREAT Sunday to get here yourself!
• If you've ever wondered if God still does miracles this would be a GREAT Sunday to get here!
• If you've ever thought that God has something better in store than you're experiencing right now this would be a GREAT Sunday to get here!
'Ya get the drift here? It's going to be a GREAT Sunday at New Horizon this weekend! GET HERE AND GET SOMEBODY ELSE HERE WITH YOU!!

Hi, Dave! Hope you are feeling better. You know, I was thinking as you were talking yesterday, about why Jesus may have chosen that particular miracle to start with. You mentioned that the groom's family is supposed to provide the wine, etc. Well, Jesus is the groom of His bride, the church. So what better way to kick things off than at a wedding? And by taking on the role of the groom, no less. And then tying that in with the culmination of His ministry, providing the blood sacrifice for His people, you have Him starting off with the wine, and ending with the blood-to me, that is a terrifically clear picture of communion. Just a thought.
